The American premiere of Fanfare for Jerusalem by Randy Klein was performed on March 26, 2017, at David Geffen Hall,

Lincoln Center by the 400 voices of HaZamir: The International Jewish High School Choir.

The Israel premiere took place on June 1, 2017, in Jerusalem.

The Zamir Choral Foundation, through their Jeanne R. Mandell Fund for New Music, commissions a major new work every year for HaZamir. The commission was awarded to composer/pianist, Randy Klein. Fanfare For Jerusalem is a musical tribute that honors and celebrates the 50-year anniversary of the reunification of the city of Jerusalem. The inspired text for Fanfare For Jerusalem is based on excerpts from the Psalms of David.
